  1. Andrea looked like she had maybe 15% African ancestry in her…but nope!
    Jason does look Jewish
I thought Jazzmyne was going to have more black in her. But she’s only 1/3 black and 60% European!

  2. I’m 100% Mexican with family members who have green/blue eyes, brown hair, and light skin and other family members who have really dark skin and black hair. My great great grandma was also 100% Spanish and migrated to Mexico as a little girl. Based on that, my guess is that I’m 50% European (a big chunk from Spain) and 50% Native American. But I might be wrong because I still need to do the DNA test.

  3. The only ones who usually know their ancestry are Mexicans… I love how they value their culture and ancestry.. Most people specially white Europeans come to the US and the next day they already forgot they came from another country lol

  4. Race is just a social construct based off how you look. Thats all race is. Ethnicity is the cultural group you identify with. Im an anthropology major so I can argue with you all day.

  5. Noone mentioned being surprised that Jazzmyne was 60% European? My jaw dropped! I knew her mother was white and father was black, but her skin is brown so I assumed she might have been more black generically than anything. Maybe her dad was mixed as well.

  6. Courtney looks like an average black girl. She is delusional

And Jason looks stereotypically Jewish, I knew he was a jew before the results. He's not ambiguous at all.

  7. People are making fun of Courtney for guessing herself to be only 30% Sub-Saharan African/black, but somehow ignore the fact that Jazzmyne was in fact shown to be only 33,5% Sub-Saharan African/black, and their phenotype really isn't that much different. The whole point of ancestry DNA testing, is the fact that "race" is a social construct, and someone's phenotype won't necessarily give away the complexity of someone's actual genotype (ethnicity/ancestry, etc). Biology, like so many other sciences, is complex.

In sum: Don't judge a book by its cover.

  8. Ethically ambigous 😂 that's funny. d: Hey everyone lets all be ethically ambigous and say we look like all races like the people in this video. I think I am going to be Asian today d: lol lol lol
