Hi peoples, i was born a d raised in Holland but my parents are from cabo Verde and i did the dna test, i have 52 % west Africa,24% iberia and 9 % north africa 2% jewish but what really surprised me was 15% balcan, i dont get it not the rest of eastern europe so i gues its not slavic but probably roma from Portugal, Does anybody have a theory??

Look at other people who have Portuguese and Spanish DNA. Port. and Span. DNA are very mixed. Italy – Roman empire rule. North Africa – Moorish rule. Celtic – North Europe settlements in Port. and Span.

Hi, don't believe in the 1% Nigerian thing. I made my test 1 year ago. And since 2018 I get 10 new dna matches everyday – and all of them have at least 1% Nigerian – no matter from where they come from (USA, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Australia…).
How can you be surprised to have North Africa if you are half Portuguese….( even the cercle of Iberian peninsula is on Morocco and part Algeria). South of the Iberian peninsula and North Africa were one country for centuries… even the south of Portugal (Algarve) is Arabic name and it’s the same name of the North Atlantic part of Morocco… You have 2 evidences history and geography proximity…By the way, you can be surprised by Finland and Nigeria… I don’t think they are accurate.
Your African side is because 800 years ago iberia peninsula was conquer by Northern African. And if your family is from south Portugal there's a high probability that they have northern African genes on them.
Hi. I was wondering if the italian, finish and African results are from your portuguese descendent, because there've been many people from other countries/etnic backgrounds in Portugal… celts, visigoth, greek, roman, berbers etc… We are a well of a mix! I say this because I'm portuguese and I grow up learning this in history classes… If this is your case, you can be more portuguese than Asian.
Portuguese are very mixed. Iberian is kind of linked with native Iberians, ancestors of both Portuguese and Spanish, and Portuguese are the "less" native in the Iberian Peninsula. All your European and African comes from your Portuguese side, and your Iberian percentage is obviously Portuguese, maybe there is a Spanish ancestor somewhere, but like if you could tell them apart from the Porutguese lol.
And you are half Asian so… what would be shocking is that you were less than half Aisan.
