So I decided to purchase a DNA kit to see just how deep my Guatemalan roots actually travel. It should take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks for the results to return.
Though I was born in Guatemala, I know a bit of my family’s history, and have used myheritage.com to record and explore our genealogy. Let’s just wait and see what pops up in the results.
