All of my test come back Nigeria #1, Yoruba specifically. My heritage did the same, but my ancestry DNA results changed from Ivory Coast/Ghana to Sierra Leone. I was a little perplexed, but when I went back to ancestry I saw Sierra Leone is actually included in the map for Ivory Coast/Ghana.
Ancestry reported Scandinavian as my highest European, my heritage doubled the amount, which is understandable because British isles had heavy Scandinavian influence.
Finally, ancestry reported Eastern European, my DNA connections are mostly Poland , but no record on ancestry of Ashkenazi Jew, my heritage estimates 7%.
Said all that to say myheritage results seem good but somewhat strange at the same time. Supposedly the company recently tested new populations, so maybe ancestry didn't have Sierra Leone samples.
