Thanks for watching! In essence I am mostly South Indian with a large northern indian component, as well as a significant minority of Southeast Asian ancestry.

  1. I am a Telugu speaker from South India. I got 42% South Indian, 34% Baloch, 10% Caucasian and 6.5% NEEuro and smaller percentages of others.

Interesting but not surprising. Most Indians would have Caucasian, Baluch blood.
So nice to know about one’s root. I am also from the north east but my family migrated from the northern part of India to the east . Very interested to know where my ancestors came from. My genealogical family history goes back to 500 years. I’ve heard that they came from Kanauj ( present Delhi) . I’d really like to know more in great details like yours.

  3. Caucasian is another word for whites/ European

  4. So, the stuff seems inaccurate, but it actually talks about thousands of years ago. Migration occurred, invasions occurred. People of seemingly 'pure' ethnicities will mostly have mixed results. It's normal.

  5. Dude you are like me lol Results sounds really similar, I just uploaded mine.

There are many south Indians that look like you…it's not a big deal

I'm Indian Punjabi and got the following results:
30% S Indian, 39% Baloch, 13% Caucasian, 12% NE-Euro. I'm actually surprised by the NE-Euro, and Caucasian %s. I thought I would be close to like 90% Indian or something lol.

I just got my results from AncestryDNA. Asia South – 89%, Asia East – 7%, Melanesia – 4%. I'm from Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. I'll be uploading to Gedmatch soon.

  9. I am actually quite surprised that you have melanesian or baloch blood since most Indian caste are very insular.

  10. I think Baloch is actually Iranian DNA. I don't know why they call it "Baloch".

  11. im really confused how are you not suprised you a south indian has balochi DNA you said that all your ancestors are south indian so how the fuck did you get baloch apparently proto dravidians are sub group of indo aryan and were caucasian who migrated to south india and raped melanesian people the original inhabitors of south india this maybe why but how are you not surprised at that

I don’t understand why so many comments are about skin color. If you’re white, good for you. If you’re some shade of brown, good for you.

  13. ShiroP says:

I wouldn't be surprised with the native american, probably attributed Mongolian admixture as Native American admixture.

  14. i c says:

I'm Pakistani (Punjabi) and I got 28% south Indian, 38% Baloch and 13% Caucasian amongst other smaller percentages.

  15. that indian Ishani Dave be on sum real bullshit..

  16. Why you really want to have polynesian dna? That amount too low to be considered legit and is more like an error.

  17. No offense but that southeast asia percentage is what they call “no or low confidence” in other words you don’t have that dna……….

  18. yes that is right east-indian = white or caucasian……..

  19. Could Native American DNA have been 'Beringian' / Siberian?
