MAXHOSA BY LADUMA’s vision is to preserve Xhosa culture through contemporary fashion, and this film was created to capture the deeper meaning behind the brand.

    Kodwa ikhona ingxaki:   This video and these designs and the spirit of these creations is so proper, that you cant just go wearing one of these and mess around!  I mean this is ancestor levels.  If you gonna wear one of these, you better be in proper respect mode.  No disrespecting of women, no getting hammered and letting oneself down, no idle betrayals of community or environment or principles for some extra profit.  Hayi, madoda. These clothes carry honour.  You best wear them when you on your best behaviour.
