Wait, what? More DNA results: AncestryDNA vs MyHeritage DNA vs GedMatch



This is the second video I make regarding my DNA results. I’m not fancy, so I shot the videos on one go. I simply want to share my results and thoughts on the tests. here is a summary of all three tests below:

Ancestry DNA:
Iberian Peninsula: 50%
Europe South; Italy and Greece: 24%
Africa North: 11%
Europe West; France and Germany: 5%
Ireland/Scotland/Wales: 3%
European Jewish: Polish: 3%
Africa Bantu: 1%
GreatBritain: less than 1%
Ivory Coast: less than 1%
Polynesian: less than 1%

My Heritage DNA:
Iberian: 78%
Italian: 6.7%
North Africa: 14.1%
Nigerian: 1.2%

GED Match: results aren’t in percentage, so I’ll just list my most common ancestries
Spanish Aragon
Spanish Valencia
Spanish Cantabria
Tunisia
Mozabite Berber
Algerian
Tuscan Italian
Italian Abruzzo
West Sicilian

French Basque

    Yes, it seems what all these different companies agree on is Spanish being the predominant component. But it is curious that My Heritage doesn't mention North or West Europe at all.

  4. North Africa does not mean Arab. Arab genetic is included in Middle Eastern Part on Myheritage's results.
